Elizabeth Luebke, 21, froze to her death after leaving a party without a coat a few blocks from the house where she had been with friends.
Her mother had reported her missing until her body was found ‘mostly frozen’ by a passers by at 9am the morning after the party. She was not prepared for the sub-zero temperatures, only wearing shorts, stockings, shoes and a tank top.
The night she collapsed had temperatures of -27 degrees.
One of her friends said Luebke had left the party angrily and ‘stormed out’.
He told Fox 6: ‘She was really, really drunk and she got mad at her other friend.’
According to a report by the Milwaukee County medical examiner, she had a history of binge-drinking and was rushed to hospital in October for alcohol poisoning after passing out in a bar.
She was found with a blood alcohol content level of 0.4.
