Video shows New Yorkers snowboarding in the US blizzard

Over the weekend a couple of youtube film makers took advantage of the blizzard that shut down New York City.  In this viral video, now almost 5 million views high, Casey Neistat and Jesse Wellens ride snowboards attached to a Jeep Wrangler.

The two-and-a-half-minute video shows Neistat, pulled by a rope-tow, sliding along the snow-covered streets alongside parked cars, plows and police cars — with Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York” in the background.

At the end a Police car pulls up to them:

“Someone complained about you, so we’re going to act like we’re talking to you,” an unidentified officer can be heard telling renegade filmmakers.

“You guys are awesome,” Neistat replies.
