The multinational clothing company has launched a new label titled ReWork.
Urban Outfitters has long been known for its success as a niche clothing store and that success has turned worldwide. It offers trend driven, urban apparel with other quirky lifestyle offerings along with a 90’s inspired vintage vibe. ReWork will infuse a dedication to exquisite fabrics alongside creativity, in-house.
The collection, which will be made entirely in London, will contain one off limited edition pieces ranging from £40 to £120, a very attractive price point for high street clientele. Also, each limited edition piece will be marked individually with a number indicating how many has been created.
This collection is designed entirely with the view that beautiful fabrics lead beautiful designs and with the range made up entirely of sourced remnant fabrics, the design process is unlike any other
Lizzie Dawson, Urban Outfitters’ head of design, who joined last year from Topshop, told British Vogue “It’s experimental and designed from what feels right opposed to chasing trends. Fashion is fast and the landscape is constantly changing and evolving. By offering something like ReWork, I’m hoping that we can offer the new and unseen to our customers.”
ReWork will be available at Urban Outfitters stores and online at Urbanoutfitters.com.
