Theresa May stepped outside of 10 Downing Street, as the first day of her being the new Prime Minister begins. She is a replacement for previous PM, David Cameron following the controversial Brexit vote. However, not all eyes were focused on her for this reason. It appears that her outfit was the talk of the town, with her choosing to represent Britain perfectly by supporting well known British fashion designers.
For her first day at office, May wore a tight fitted navy dress with a lime colour featured around the neckline. Over the top, she wore a dark blue coat with a matching flash of green as a panel just below the waistline. The ensemble was designed by Amanda Wakeley. Accompanying that was a pair of leopard printed heels by L.K. Bennett. It seems that her outfit choice was greatly approved of by the public as displayed on social media, with a lot of comments saying how fabulous she looked, and I agree! She looks very classic in appearance, but also very trendy – and I love it!
It will be interesting to see what fashion statements the new Lady Prime Minister makes next, and we will be seeing a lot more of her in the near future!
