As the days get warmer and the sun shines bright in the sky, we can finally feel summer coming! And what could be better than shopping for some new summer clothes?

The lingerie/pyjama dressing trend has been a favourite on the Spring 2016 catwalks, with brands like Calvin Klein and Givenchy that presented classic sleepwear updated for a modern look, appropriate enough to wear outside the house. If you feel like jumping on board this trend, a slip dress is perfect to start. Slip dresses are simple, sexy and sophisticated. Wear them with a pair of flats or heeled sandals, and add a big hat and sunglasses for a super-chic retro look. A silk slip dress with a T-shirt underneath and a pair of sneakers will give you a total 90s vibe.

Off-the-shoulder

From Saint Laurent to Alexander McQueen, off-the-shoulder designs were another favourite for this season. These kind of tops and dresses are very versatile, so you can easily wear them with anything you like. Pair cute blouses with high-waist jeans/trousers. For a Boho-chic outfit, choose a ruffled dress or top.

Athleisure

Athleisure consists of fancy gym clothes, or in other words, comfy gym wear turned into chic streetwear. Many A-listers like Rihanna, Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid are longtime fans of this trend. So, if you feel inspired and want to try it, start with mixing leggings, sneakers and graphic tees with non-athletic clothes. Try wearing lace-up tops with sweatpants, a sports bra with a jacket, or a pair of shorts with heels. Grey, black and white are usually the preferred hues, but feel free to add some pop of colours here and there.

They come in many styles and colours, such as low-cut and halterneck, vintage or sporty, so it’s easy to find the most flattering for your body type. Always pick something that makes you feel comfortable and beautiful!
