Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has named Rihanna as the best-selling digital artist of all time.
The 27-year-old Hip-hop singer is the first and only artist ever to surpass RIAA’s 100 million Digital Singles Award, with over 100 million Gold and Platinum song certifications.
At the moment, fans of Riri (her common name among fans) are awaiting the release of her highly anticipated eighth album ‘R8’, three years after she released her last album- ‘Unapologetic.’ Rihanna first made an appearance in the official charts with her critically acclaimed hit single ‘Pon de Replay’ in 2005.
The ‘R8’ album will feature her single ‘Four Five Seconds’ – a collaboration with Sir Paul McCartney and Kanye West, as well as her most recent hit – “B**** Better Have My Money’, for which the full video has been released, as of today.
The seven minute music video has already started receiving controversy over its explicit content.
