Singer, actress, entrepreneur, designer, creative director, presenter and all round goddess, Rihanna (Robyn Rihanna Fenty), continues to build her empire as she announced her eagerly anticipated beauty brand ‘Fenty Beauty by Rihanna‘.
Might there be anything Rihanna can’t successfully turn her hand to? The short answer being no. The mega star has had a busy time of it lately, what with becoming Puma’s Creative Director, releasing her long awaited eighth album titled ‘Anti‘ and most recently, releasing her 3rd collection for Stance socks. Last September as Rihanna launched her fragrance, Riri, she announced had registered for the trademark of Fenty Beauty and hinted at what we might expect from the line when asked by Refinery29: “There are a lot! Lashes that could just put themselves on…lipstick that doesn’t move, but doesn’t dry your lips out, that you don’t need a liner for. I mean, it sounds so unreal.”
28 year old Rihanna is no stranger to pushing the limits for herself and her career so the sudden announcement of the 10 million dollar deal with multinational company LVMH was embraced by the media and her adoring fans, Rihanna Navy. Considering how highly regarded and dominant the company are, this is going to be one ace of a duo. The brand which will be due for release in the Autumn of 2017 expects to contain a make up range (at least) with products aimed at a slick market.
“Fenty Beauty by Rihanna is a beauty rocket ship that will appeal to a huge and diverse global audience. We are aiming for the stars,” David Suliteanu, CEO of Kendo, a division of LVMH, said.
