Once again, Madonna has shown her great talent; as she always does wherever she goes. This time though, has been more special to her because she has recently visited Spain, one of her favourite countries since always.
Madonna has never hidden her passion for this country. More than once, she has publicly confessed her love for all things Spanish. A perfect example could be found in her Brit Awards performance last February, in which bullfighting was the main theme of her choreography. Ten months later, her two shows in Barcelona have happened to be a great success.
The Queen of Pop has not only offered a stunning performance, but has also given her best bits to her Spanish audience: she dedicated “La Isla Bonita” to them and decided to wear a bullfighter’s ‘suit of lights’, especially designed for her, while singing “Living for Love”.
After spending four days in Barcelona, Madonna is ready to take on more shows in her tour. We’ll find her in London very soon; she’ll be offering two shows in O2 Arena next week and will be flying to Paris right after.
Despite the alerts, Madonna has refused to cancel her shows in Paris after the terrorist attacks. She stated two weeks ago, after finding it out: “Why should I cancel? There is no one in the world who has the right to stop us from doing what we love” So, it’s clear: the show must go on, and no one is going to stop her right now.
The fifty-seven-year-old diva has still a lot to show to the world, and it seems nothing will prevent her to do what she wants, which is nothing but giving her best art to her fans. This shows that, literally, she’s got a true rebel heart.
