LycaHealth, the new healthcare brand, has opened its first centre in London. The centre, located in Canary Wharf, was officially opened by Boris Johnson, the Mayor of London.
The healthcare centre will offer comprehensive, multi-speciality consultation, diagnostics, treatment and wellness services for the local residential and professional population. Patients will be seen by LycaHealth’s handpicked specialists and can access state-of-the-art equipment such as Multi Resonance Imaging Scanners (MRI), Computerised Tomography (CT), ultrasound scanners and digital X-ray.
LycaHealth CEO Dr Manpreet Gulati aims to bring a high-quality consumer experience to the healthcare sector, with patients seen in modern, stylish and welcoming surroundings.
The Canary Wharf centre is the first step in LycaHealth’s growth plans, with further centres planned to open around the UK, South Asia and eventually Africa over the next five years.
Dr Manpreet Gulati, CEO of LycaHealth, said: “Our mission is to combine our expert knowledge and personal service with technological innovation, to deliver an exceptional and highly personable experience to our clients. By capitalising on our wealth of knowledge and listening carefully to our clients’ needs, we devise healthcare solutions that exceed all expectations.”
LycaHealth is the latest venture by entrepreneur Subaskaran Allirajah, Chairman of Lyca Group, the world’s largest international mobile virtual network operator. Speaking about the LycaHealth launch, Subaskaran Allirajah said: “Manpreet has a powerful vision for the future of healthcare which is much more patient-centric than the current provision and is driven by his personal experience. It was that vision that attracted me to launch LycaHealth. The new centre is a stunning facility for professionals based in Canary Wharf and surrounding areas, and as we grow we’ll be targeting other areas with similar healthcare requirements.”
LycaHealth’s Chairperson is Prema Subaskaran, an entrepreneur with a passion for helping people from the developing world access the medical care they need. She is a trustee of the Gnanam Foundation, which aims to provide opportunities and support to the most vulnerable people and communities all over the world.
LycaHealth is accredited by the Care Quality Commission and recognised by all the major healthcare insurance companies and is now fully open for its clients in Canary Wharf.
