David Bowie still remembered

Since the passing of the Starman earlier this year, thousands of tributes have been paid to the late singer by fans and artists all around the world.

9 months after the loss of one of the most influential artists of all time, a free exhibition has opened its doors in the area of Brixton in London where the artist was born. The exhibition will present a series of unseen photographs of the singer including shots by Mick Rock who is no other than the man who captured our favourite Ziggy Stardust.  The exhibition is entitled ‘Silhouette and Shadows’ (A Bowie lyric in fact) and is located in the Photofusion Photography Centre, you have no excuse not to go and check it out because it’s all free!

And whilst you’re there, why not go and see the famous Bowie mural which has recently been preserved by the Lambeth Council and which still sees people from all around the world paying their tributes with flowers and messages to the Brixton boy.
