The Lion and the King (2001) – Movie Review

If there is one good thing I can say about this supposed film is that it is shorter than Dinosaur Adventure, and now that I think about it what does it truly mean to review a movie as bad as this? First some context if you hadn’t read my previous review. Dingo Pictures is a German company that produces extremely ...

Dinosaur Adventure (2000) – Movie Review

Before I delve in to the wonderful world of “Dinosaur Adventure” some context of the production is needed. This film, though it’s only about 45 minutes, and many others like them are produced by a German company called Dingo Pictures. Their shtick is to knock out as many animated pictures as possible for as little effort as possible, and sell ...

First Pokémon Go, now possible deals for a live-action movie!

Nostalgia is most definitely kicking in with most people at this moment in time; with the recent launch of Pokémon Go, Tarzan back in the cinema and the name Clinton back in the run for congress, for the mid-twenties population, it must feel as if we've fallen in some sort of worm-hole. Nonetheless, Pokémon Go has taken the world by storm and with Nintendo receiving a 25% stock price jump following the launch of the mobile game, it comes to no surprise that Hollywood has renewed the chase for a deal to turn Pokémon into a feature film. With this said, there has been previous movies of the cult franchise throughout the years but never a live-action feature and as much as this sounds exciting, live-action films can come as risky business. Anyone remember the shambolic attempt that was Dragonball Evolution? A much loved manga animated television series ruined for fans in a 90-minute time frame.

In recent news, it is known that Legendary Pictures are moving towards a deal to land the rights to make a live-action movie, based on of the much loved pocket monster

Ghostbusters has had more than its fair share of controversy in the run up to its debut in cinemas, and remaking a classic film was always going to draw ire from fans, but the fire was stoked when it was announced that this un-wanted remake was to introduce an all female line up of ghostbusters, with the flames being fanned ...

After Dory…What Else Can You Find? – ‘Finding Dory’ Review

Just a few years after its birth, Pixar became the soft spot for everyone. Not only because it radically changed the world of animated features in cinematic history; all their stories (which are actually a few) are always a success. That’s because Pixar has always known how to make sequels better and prequels, and, therefore, how to make a story continue and last…”through infinity ...

Jason Bourne: A Return to Glory?

Jason Bourne is back. These are words that herald the return of one of the greatest modern action trilogies that has graced our screens. It was a trilogy started by Doug Liman and further realised by Paul Greengrass, with the series improving exponentially with each instalment, culminating with The Bourne Ultimatum, a near perfect way to conclude Jason Bourne’s story. ...

As we are in the heart of Shark Week, I thought it would be a nice addition to explore 6 famous sharks that have graced our screens. Batman v Superman Ultimate Edition Review

When Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was released way back in March, it divided fans and was met with a negative critical reaction, with most critics citing its failures in storytelling, as well as the paper thin motivations that had our heroes kicking the hell out of each other. In response to its underwhelming reception, Warner Bros announced an ...
