In 2008, the rising Hollywood star predicted that he would be in the fourth installment of the Jurassic Park franchise.
In one of the outtakes filmed in 2008, for NBC’s series Parks and Recreation (in which Pratt played Andy Dwyer) the actor jokes about receiving a text message from director Steven Spielberg regarding “Jurassic Park 4” film.
“I just got a text message from Steven Spielberg. God, it’s so annoying.”
Fast forward seven years later and Chris Pratt was cast as Owen Grady in Jurassic World (2015) a former US Navy Cadet, who is tasked with training Velociraptors.
“Sorry Steven, I was asked by Parks and Recreation/NBC to do ‘behind the scenes.’ Which is to say, everyone else was asked and said no,” Pratt replies.
“But I have no shame, as you know by the endless gift baskets. I’ll have to get back to you later about Jurassic Park 4.”
