China Southern Airlines UK held their Annual Awards event on 25th November 2015 at Ritz London, it was an evening to remember for all involved.
The invitees were spoilt for choice by the host’s hospitality, a variety of wines, juices and drinks besides, meats and chicken bites was on offer as the evening unfolded inside the glitz and glamour of Ritz. The room was full of service providers vital to an airlines success, airport cargo, freight forwarders, air ticketing agents, tourist boards, holiday companies and cruise operators none were left out, which goes to show the efforts taken in compiling such an exhaustive list.

Mr Darren Cummins (Key account manager) of China Southern Airlines welcomed the guests and thanked all for making it, followed by Mr Zhou Tieying (General Manager) who thanked the valued partners without whose help and support China Southern Airlines could not have reached such heights.

He said “thank you all for attending the third annual awards of China Southern UK, the third annual award is very important for us and also for our partners. I cannot stress the importance of partnership between you and China Southern, our London route has served for three years already, however, in fact our partnership has been established long time ago, I remember during that time only three European destinations including Amsterdam, Paris and Moscow of China Southern products were offered in Europe, because of your support it has been possible to operate so many destinations.

Another highlight of this year is China Southern operated London to Guangzhou cargo flights from Stansted airport that aided a new platform and capacity for this service and now the European routes of China Southern has been extended to six direct destinations as well as the seventh destination of Italy in Rome”.
What our readers might be interested in knowing is that China Southern Airlines is now flying 200 countries with cargo flights volume of 230,000 tonnes, 11,000 flights, three flights daily to Stansted from Guangzhou and this is set to grow. The event threw open opportunities for networking amongst the invitees and was buzzing with optimism. Arrays of awards were given to Cargo operators, ticketing agents and the rest. The event concluded well into the evening with every one being made a winner.
