Afraid of heights? Bar and restaurant set to open on the side of a Mexican cliff

The Copper Canyon Cocktail Bar is currently  in its planning stages. But when constructed, it will stick in the side of a cliff, overlooking Basaseachic Falls, the second highest waterfall in Mexico.

The design studio Tall Arquitectos, says it will span two levels with the first floor featuring a bar and dining room. In the middle the floor will be made of glass so you can see the stunning view directly below. Not for the faint hearted.

Upstairs, there will be an observation deck and a swimming pool. Relaxing or terrifying?

The studio’s designs are now awaiting planning approval. We wonder why.
