London theatre ticket prices have hiked in the past few years and it can be quite common not to take home any change from £150 for a pair of tickets to your must see West End show. Add refreshments and merchandise to that cost and it’s no wonder that theatre going is not on the agenda of Joe Public. Here are five tips to help you to search for the best deals for tickets as well as hints about where to sit with a good view, but for an affordable price:
http://www.theatremonkey.com/ – Theatre Monkey is a bible for theatre goers, there are ticket deals available but also reviews of the various shows AND theatres. Readers have added their reviews of seats in the theatres so that if you see a bargain price for the show of your choice, you can search the site to find out if anyone else has taken the same deal. Don’t leave for the West End without a glance at this excellent guide!
http://www.tkts.co.uk/leicester-square/ – a discount theatre booth situated in the centre of Leicester Square offering tickets for all the top shows at knock down prices. You can visit the website to see what’s available and they will have a list of shows they are selling that particular week. Tickets can only be purchased from the booth, not over the internet or over the telephone, but their on the day deals are second to none.

Her open and honest reviews are some of the most read by West End theatre goers. Wilma will also give recommendations on dining and hotels to include in your theatre trip.
https://tickets.amazon.co.uk/ – Amazon Theatre Tickets are fairly new kids on the block but their offers are amazing, they have discount tickets which have no booking fee on a regular basis, which can make all the difference to your pocket.
